Christmas Scriptures

Here are some of the scriptures I like using in my Christmas decorations.

Enjoy being surrounded by His Word this holiday season.

“You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.”  Luke 1:31&32a

“I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.”                Luke 2:10&11

“Where is the One who has been born king of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”  Matthew 2:2

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”  John 1:14

“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.”  I John 4:14

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

“The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.  He was in the world, and thought the world was made though him, the world did not recognize him.  He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.  Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”  John 1:9-12

“But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law. That we might receive the full rights of sons.”  Galatians 4:4-5
