Isn’t this a fun way to decorate for Valentine’s Day while being reminded of the GREAT love the Father has for us?
The wonderful and amazing Stacey Kingman designed this for my Spring Bible study class and I think it is super cute!!!
If you can’t tell from the picture, the verse is John 3:16 and the words are lined up to spell “Valentine” vertically.
It is really easy to make!
Here is what you need:
Map – you can find the free download here
Verse – cost $5 here or you could make your own
Heart punch and a variety of red paper
Black embroidery thread and a needle
Frame – We used an 8×10, but this could be modified to fit any size you want.
Once you have printed the map and verse it is super easy to put together!
Just cut the words apart and stick them on the map making sure to line up the letters that spell Valentine.
Punch your hearts to add along the bottom and add a fun detail by stitching around one of them with the black thread.
Here are some of my sweet class members with their finished projects…
Insert it into the frame of your choice and you have a great Valentine’s Day decoration to use for years to come.
