Pomegranate Sugar Scrubbing Hand Soap

DSC02012

Taking care of hands in the winter is a must, so I thought this scrubbing hand soap would make great little gifts for any woman – teacher, neighbor, co-worker, mom, aunt…

I saw this super cute and easy idea HERE.

Here’s what you need:

(I found everything at Wal-Mart)

-Kerr 4 oz Quilted Crystal Jelly Jars

-Sugar

-Dish Soap with Hand Renewal – the one I found was pomegranate scented, so that’s where the pomegranate came in.

How I mixed it:

Add ¼ cup of sugar and 3 Tbsp of soap to your jar and stir.

As you stir the mix will combine and make room for a little more.

Add another ¼ cup of sugar and 1 Tbsp of soap and stir again.

Add the lid and your done!  Super EASY!!!

Finishing Touches:

To decorate these little jars we double stick taped tags to the top and tied on a little spoon with ribbon.  I want to give a shout out to the AMAZING Rebecca who created and printed these little tags for us with a fun little pomegranate graphic in the middle – so stinkin cute! I found these spoons at Hobby Lobby.  They are called appetizer spoons.  If you don’t have a Hobby Lobby, you could also get some little tasting spoons from an ice cream or yogurt place.

This makes a great gift as is, or you could take it a step further like this…

I added Twisted Peppermint hand lotion from Bath and Body Works, OPI nail color and a fun nail file.  Of all the things we made at our Craft Event, this was definitely one of my favorites!
